Announcing Otl Analyzer Script - Replacing Otl_diag

OTL Product Support is announcing the new Proactive Diagnostics Script: "OTL Analyzer" that will considerably save the time taken for supporting your issues, and will proactively help you enhance your OTL setup!

This script will include many helpful sections including what current OTL_Diag.sql script has been providing in addition to new sections that fully scans your OTL Setup, and proactively provide colorful reminders/comments and best practices blue/warnings in orange /errors in red about areas that might cause potential problems in your output. It will be helpful for both customers and support.

OTL Analyzer will replace the OTL_Diag script that is currently being used by OTL Customers and Support.

The following notes will be used instead to refer to the new OTL Analyzer for setup and running steps information:

Additionally, the analyzer will also list any My Oracle Support Note that can be utilized to resolve the issue.

When the OTL Analyzer is executed, an environment review is performed and the following sections are generated based on the parameters you enter on running the script:
> OTL Technical Information (version, patching, performance, database objects)
> OTL Setup Analyzer
> Employee Preferences
> Specific Timecard Data:
> HXC (Self Service, Timekeeper, API) Timecard Data      
> HXT (OTLR/PUI) Timecard Data      
> Batch information      

This script can be setup as a Concurrent Request which we strongly recommend to ensure avoiding parameter entry mistakes or headache of finding the IDs to pass to the parameters. We have made it easy for customers and provided some ready and safe-to-load  LDT file to implement all the necessary setup steps.
