مساعدة لعمل Custom Employee Number

السلام عليكم ..
I want to generate cutom employee numbers for new hired employees for EX. the employee number will be 'XYZ-sequence-last 2 digits from national identifier' XYZ-1-234
I did the following steps but the system generate the employee number in sequence 1,2,3,.......
1- Employee number in BG : Automatic
2- Created sequence and function to create the employee number.
3- Defined the Function in the application.
4- Creat a new formula : EMP_NUMBER_GENERATION type: Person Number Generation

I'm working in release 12.1.3

Can any one help please.
