Hello Experts, I have report to display data about employee and data contains image , that report was working fine when i was executing the report with oracle apps 11i and data type was LONG RAW for image field whereas when i transfered into oracle apps R12 the IMAGE column data type in PER_IMAGES table is BLOB Can anyone help me clearly to write the the main select in order to display image in the report. main select : [/left] [left]select k.parent_id,k.image from per_images k [/left] Thanks in advance

because of some problems I delete my Database and I have created my new DB and specified the database name and the password when i tried to connect to the database by using this database name and password from SQL PLUS and from Form Builder its give me this error ora-01017 invalid username/password logon denied the test did not succeed I don’t know why if any body have idea about this error plz help me Any help will be appreciated.

am useing this DB to connect PMS3/PMS3@PMS3 but still am getting the same error ora-01017 invalid username/password also I tried sys/manager@orcl but still am getting the same error ora-12154 : TNS :could not resolve the connect identifier spacified

اخوانى مش عارف اه الحل فى الموضوع ده .. بس انا سؤالى الان هو هل لو البيانات الخاصه بقاعدة البيانات ( مجلد ال ORCL المتواجد فى ال oracledate ) صالح ام ان هناك اليانات كلها حدث ليها ضرر ..!!! هذا سؤال مهم لى . - واريد ان اعرف كيفيه اصلاح العطل ؟ - و هل لو قمت بتحميل وندوز جديد و حملت الاوراكل مرة اخى و قمت بعمل Replace لمجلد oracdata فهل سوف يعمل مرفق : ملف ال alert_log و شكرا alert_orcl.zip

اخواني السلام عليكم عندي داتابيس شغالة و ماشاء الله عليها :angry: لكن قبل كم يوم انقطعت الكهرباء فجأة و البرنامج كان شغال و بعد ذلك عندما يعمل الجهاز و نفتح البرنامج تظهر الرسالة التالية: ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress مع العلم اني تركت الجهاز شغال ساعة و نفس الشي فعملت التالي اخذت كل ملفات ال DBF و نسختها على مكان اخر ثم قمت بالفرمتة و تنزيل اوراكل من جديد و اشتغلت تمام ثم بعد ذلك قمت بنسخ ملفات ال DBF الى نفس مكانها الاصلي في فولدر الداتابيس لكن قبل ذلك قمت باطفاء الservices الخاصة بأوراكل ثم عملت ريستارت للجهاز ثم جربت اشبك على الداتابيس و ظهرت نفس المشكلة اخواني ارجوكم ساعدوني الموضو هام جدا و خطير لان اليوزر اخر مرة اخذ فيها b…

ظهرت لي هذه المشكلة عند تشغيل الـDatabase : ORA-01034 : Oracle is not available ORA-27101 : shared memory realm does not exis فما هو الحل جزاكم الله خيرا

Salam Alikom Ihave installed Oracle 10g on SUSE Linux During the installation, there were no errors. After installation I used dbstart utility to startup instance When I used Sqlplus as sysdba to startup instance Oracle told me Connected to an idle instance when i do startup give this error ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters LRM-00109: could not open parameter file '/opt/oracle/product/oracle_home/dbs/in itorcl.ora' the instance name is QNET NOT orcl when i writ comment ENV give the ORACLE_SID=orcl Your support shall be highly appreciated

السلام عليكم و رحمه الله و بركاته عندي مشكلة في قاعدة البيانات. عندما اقوم بعمل Startup لقاعدة البيانات يظهر لي هذا المسج ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced ارجوكم افيدوني في حل هذه المشكلة

when I try to open my DB I find that the database is mounted and I am not ale to open it ,because the control file is older than the system datafile and it gives me the following SQL> conn sys/sys as sysdba Connected. السلام عليكم I've a homogenous distributed database system, when my application connects to Oracle 9i( 9.2) and tries to retrieve an image(stored in the table as a long raw data type) from Oracle 9i( 9.2) or Oracle 8i (8.0) i get ORA-01406 " Fetched column values was truncated)! However, when my application connects to Oracle 8i( 8.0) and tries to retrieve an image(stored in the table as a long raw data type) from Oracle 8i (8.0) or Oracle 9i (9.2) it works! In addition, there is no problem when my application connects locally to Oracle 9i(9.2) or Oracle 8i(8.0)! Could you kindly help me please as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

ارجو حل لهزا المشكلة مع العلم قمت بعمل CREATE ROLLBACK SEGMENT SS TABLESPACE DRSYS ونفس المشكلة تظهر عند عمل delete لبعض بيانات table ERROR at line 1: ORA-01562: failed to extend rollback segment number 3 ORA-01650: unable to extend rollback segment RBS2 by 64 in tablespace RBS

السلام عليكم الأخوة الأكارم لدي أوراكل على عدد من السيرفرات ، وحالياً استخدم ال data link للوصول إليها جميعا في نفس الوقت لكن فجاْة عندما يكثر عدد المستخدميين لهذه الروابط تظهر لي هذه الرسالة : ORA-02042 too many distributed transactions ولا يمكنني التواصل مع أي سيرفر منها عبر ال data link . الرجاء المساعدة وكيف أحل هذه المشكلة ، وهل لسعة الشبكة أي دخل أم أن المشكلة في عدد المستخدمين .
