i want an advice
my company is starting a new project in oracle but they still not able to make a
decision of using 10g developer and database or use oracle 8i with developer 6i since they get used to 8i and 6i and frightened from using 10g and facing problems since the project has to be developed in hurry
so can any body till me if their is any major difference between those oracle versions that can cause problem ?

you must now , the major different between 10g and 6i is:

6i : is Clint - Server (you can not make it for web only from clint to server)
10g : Web-Based ( For web you can)


You must now , in this year oracle will not give you support for develop 6i . but for 10g it is given.

and all problem that happen in oracle 9i , It is solved in oracle 10g .
