Please tell me the setps in details to manually create a database on Windows NT.

i want to know how to set ORACLE_SID, because there is already a value in the register for ORCL database

Another thing, how to make a service to the manually created database?

i still have a little problem,
TNS COULD NOT RESOLVE THE SERVICE NAME

i checked both files tnsnames.ora and listner.ora and i added the block required for the new database service
i checked the following :

both services , the database service and the listner

service ,are started

, but it is still out of work.[/align]

can tell me the number error?
