Extracting Files From Forms 6i Ole Objects

Featured Replies

بتاريخ:
Hi,

I'm new to Oracle Forms. I have been tasked with extracting files from a database that were stored there by Oracle Forms 6i OLE objects. As I understand, these files are only accessible via Oracle Forms 6i due to the way it serializes the OLE object before saving it. I've tried googling, and there were a couple old threads about this, but unforuntely all the links people were referencing were dead. The files stored in the database range from Microsoft Word files (.doc, .xls) to PDFs and HTML files. I need some method to extract the files, and figure out what file extension they should have. I do have access to Oracle Forms Developer 6i, but I'm unfamiliar with it.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
