Research Project
You are hired in Yarmouk University as an information system manager. Upon the first
meeting with the students, the registration problem has been emerged and you are
responsible for solving this problem. Use the several types of information systems to
brainstorm what you think an appropriate registration system. It is important to define
each element and relate it to the problem. Try to link your model to these information
system concepts (Data, Information and knowledge, Supply chain management,
Information Architecture, interorganizational systems, Legacy systems, Information
infrastructure, enterprise information systems, Internet, Intranet, and the Extranet, TPS
functional systems and all types of e-business transactions). It is important to build your
own IS architecture as a starting point to solve the problem.
