Oman University conducts examinations organized by the exam’s office of the university. The exam’s office operates as below: A student has to register to take up the examination of a module. A student is identified by unique id, name, specialization and CGPA. A student can register one or more modules and similarly a module can be registered by at least one student. Exam’s office identifies a module by its code, name and credit points. When a student registers for a module, the semester and number of attempts are tracked by the exam’s office. Once the students are registered for their respective modules, the exam’s office allocates rooms for each module to conduct the examination. A room is identified by its no, name, building name and capacity. A module can be scheduled in at least one room and a room may be scheduled for more modules or may not be scheduled. Whenever a room is scheduled for a module, the exam’s office stores the date of the exam. The exam’s office also allocates one mandatory invigilator to each room for smooth conduct of the exam. Each invigilator is identified by his staff ID, name, specialization and phone number. An invigilator is allocated to exactly one room but a room should have one mandatory invigilators. An invigilator belongs to exactly one department. Each department is identified by its number, name and location. A department may have some invigilators or may not have any invigilator. a) Construct the Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) for the above given scenario. Identify all the entities, attributes of each entity including primary key, not null, relationship between the entities and cardinality constraints. State any assumptions necessary to support your design. تقديم بلاغ
