Dear
Oracle application is one of oracle products
and it is set of designed application (desinged as forms from oracle company)
it contains applications such :-
Oracel financial
oracle managements
oracle General Ledger
oracle manufacturing
and other products
and those application recommended not to update in their tables's definitions as DBA unless you tell oracle itself because those application related together and any update in one of them will led to more and more problems
those forms and their database are reside in server and clients can connect to them from their pc's and do their work
and this product(oracle application) when you buy it for your company you'll take 3 products
-production
-test
-demo
*production : used to make your transactions(dml opereations)
*test: for new users to practice on forms
*demo:- conatins examples some samples of data
