كيف  15.5% تحولت في الحل الى 1.55  ؟

    السلام عليكم

     

     

    the increasing rate 15.5%  will be 15.5/100  = 0.155  you will multiply by salary to get the increasing amount

    and to get the new salary add the increasing amount to the old salary

     

    new salary will be  salary + (0.155 * salary) ---> you can write as  new_salary = salary * 1.155 

     

    an example

    Salary = 1000 and rate = 15%   so the new salary will be calculated as

    new salary = (1000 * 0.15) + 1000 = 1150

    and can be written as new salary = 1000 * 1.15 = 1150

     

     

    It is a mathematical issue   :rolleyes: not related to round statement
