Please tell me the solution for this problem..

I am getting the error ERR REP-1219: 'R_1' has no size -- length or width is zero.

.... in report builder i am getting the result..

But in application R12 it is giving error..(ERR REP-1219: 'R_1' has no size -- length or width is zero)

and the size of field is Appropriate for the size of the original size.

plz Replay me

Hi,

try converting it into character mode before running this might help you .

File>Administration>Convert...(navigation for 6i)

Tools>File Conversions.... (navigation for 9i)

1. Select the Source and Destination(preferable take a new location)

2. Change the Destination Type to .RDF

3. Switch to Option tab

4. Change Destination Unit to "Character".

this soulution dos'nt solve problem .

report was working fine on test environment (r12)
but todaty iam upgrading into r12 production environment
but some of report gaves this error

so, try to solve this problem by increasing the page width and height

For example suppose You have created a report on page layout having 120 width and 67 height and you are facing this problem. You can increase the page width to 200 and height to 100 and then you can check your report. Once report will run, you can again resize your report layout by decreasing width and height on trial basis.

In addition to the above solution, I've changed some settings in the application as in the attached file.

report format should to be PDF instead of TEXT
