When You talk about Solaris , you are talking about UNIX itself
but any linux OS is a branch from UNIX


You are supposed to Learn SUN SOLARIS

As karioookey said , Unix is the main , and linux comes from unix after some modification ,

So I suggest you to Learn Unix (Solaris 10) and then go for the Online certification , after that start your next course DBA ,

belevie me this the right way. and if you get time it's one month duration for linux Redhat ,it's very esay comparing to Unix
