لدي نظام تشغيل windows 2003 server ولدي ram 8G
اريد زيادة sga الي 4G فكيف ذلك عند زيادتها بالطرق المعرفه لا تفتح الداتا بيز .. وذلك عن طريق تغيير البارمتر
sga_max_size و sga_target

alter system set sga_target=4G scope=spfile

او

alter system set sga_target=4000M scope=spfile

الذي يحدث بعد اغلاق الـ database وفتحها لا تفتح

hi
shutdown the database
in init.ora
change values you want
startup using that file

is your operating system 32 bit or 64 bit?

بعد تنفيذ اوامر alter واغلاق الـ database وفتحها يظهر هذا الخطأ

ORA-27102: out of memory
OSD-00029: additional error information
O/S-Error: (OS 8) Not enough storage is available to process this command.

نسخة الويندوز 32 bit

Hello Esam
the 32bit operating systems have a limit of memory of 3 GB only.
so if you have 8 GB of memory in your server Oracle will use only up to 3 GB of them.
to let Oracle use the whole memory available on the server you have to configure Address Windowing Extensions (AWE) or VLM on Windows 32 bit Platforms

عند التعديل في ملف boot.ini واضافة /3GB واعادة التشغيل لا يفتح الويندوز علي فكرة انا لدي WINDOWS 2003 SERVER

اخى العزيز ...معروف ان windows server 2003 لا يدعم اكثر من 4G
وحتى عشان تقدر تخليه يقدر يشوف 4G بتضيف السطر التالى فى boot.ini

[i] /PAE[/i]

وطبعا ال 4G دى هتبقي المساحه الكليه للنظام ككل وساعتها تقدر تخللى مساحه ال SGA 3G على اقصي تقدير
وصدقنى 3G كتير جدا ومبالغ فيها بدرجه كبيره ل SGA

عموما جرب وباذن الله هتشتغل معاك
