What is the forms builder version you are using?

using 6i

In forms 6i there is no problem
1-When You buy your Barcode , read the machine manual and you will find the supported barcodes
2-search google for barcode font with the same name of the supported one
3- after downloading the fonts from the internet , install the fonts on the client machine
4- In case you want to print barcode for the product number for example , from your application, change the font of the product number to barcode font on your report
5- In case of scanning a barcode, Just install the machine driver and plug it to your computer. The machine automatically scan barcode and and write the product number to your application automatically
