hi all
we have program wrote by oracle 6i in the server and now when we run it, ...it displays the Arabic text as ??????? in some forms and some forms display the Arabic text normally...


* The nls_lang fr the server is :ARABIC_AMERICA.AR8MSWIN1256
* We have arabic font installed on all the machines here.
* when i checked at back end ,wherever the arabic text was inserted it shows ?????? but if the query done form, it shows the arabic font as it was inserted.

please help me

ممكن تكون هذه الفورم تم انشاؤها على nls مختلفة أقصد غير هذه القيمة AR8MSWIN1256
أو تأكد من نوع الخط على الفورم وليكن Arial

use ARABIC_EMARITES
OR SAUDI
INSTEAD OF AMARICA

تشكر اخي على الرد

ولكن تم التأكد بان الفورم على القيمة AR8MSWIN1256
ونفس الوقت غيرت نوع الخط بس مازالت المشكلة قائمة

By this method need to change all database to this type and I can not change because this database have a lot of data from more than one years

يرجى رفع 2 فورم لنا
واحدة من الشغالة كويس واخرى مما بها مشكلة الخط

أيضا من خلال لوحة التحكم تأكدي من اختيار اللغة العربية والفونتات المختلفة

وفقك الله

go to control panel then regional setting then regional options select arabic rather than english also go to advanced select arabic rather than english good luck
