Salaam Alykom All,

Excuse writing my post in English, but it is the only way i can clear up my question

am a beginner in building oracle forms. I did self study on that using oracle student guide.

However, I still can't see the whole things in one image.

so, what is suggested to be the best way to grab oracle forms and specificlly understand the way of triggers functionality?

any articles/reference can be a good start ?

I advice ya to start with a simple project to have the right ways and skills in the oracle form developer
and we will stand with u and help u in any problems u faced
such as analysing,coding,....all of things.

I have couple of questions if you can help me:

Q1: Does the way of the writing the trigger name makes any difference
(e.g Post-Query and PostQuery)


Q2: Is there any difference in generating data block manully or by wizard?
means in defning the items, is there anything happen behind that make datablock defined in full way while using the wizard?

Answer:1 ya brother it has a differences ...cuz there triggers are a reserved words....and if ya write for example PostQuery that gives u an errors......
Answer:2 By Wizard...easy way to connect form with the data base
and u can connect a manual data block with the data base but u must write a column name, table name at the item properties
and u need to make a refresh 4 this data block by usin data block wizard from Tools menu.

GENERALLY USING WITH NON DATA BAST ITEM
FOR EXAMPLE :CONTROL ITEM(DELETE BUTTON,CREATE BUTTON... ETC
