We have database oracle 9i and I want to do recover of the log files into another database oracle 9i
in order to save my database, I execute this instruction but it do no thing

***recover database using backup controlfile;
What can i do

we need more infromation on exactly what you did

you restored all controlfiles - datafiles - archives to the new server

or just the archives ?

if second is true , was the database on the new server working already open as it might passed these sequnces inthe archives copied
