I'm student in SUNY at Binghamton and I have this semester course in Database.
and I'm doing project for this course and I like to share my project with any one.

and I finish the document requirement and ER-Diagram Optimization Normalization and I am doing relational algebra as HW's

Syllabus of CS532 Database Systems

Course Description

Association between data elements and data models; entity-relationship, relational, and object-oriented. Relational database design techniques. Formal and commercial query languages. Introduction to query processing, transaction management, and concurrency control.

When and where

Time : 8:30am – 9:30am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Classroom : EB N25

Prerequisite

CS333 or equivalent

Office hours

1:30pm – 2:30pm, Monday, Wednesday or by appointment

Textbook

No textbook is required but the following books will be used as the primary reference books.

* Fundamentals of Database Systems by R. Elmasri, and S. Navathe, fifth edition

* Oracle10g Programming - A Primer by R. Sunderraman

The instruction will be primarily based on my Lecture Notes for CS532, which can be purchased from the bookstore.

* Chapter 7: SQL

* Chapter 9: ORDB Features
* Chapter 10: Index Structures and Index Creation
* Chapter 11: Query Processing
* Chapter 12: Transaction Management
* Chapter 13: Concurrent Control

Projects

Two projects will be assigned during the semester. Some knowledge of Java programming language is required for the second project.

* Project 1: You will write SQL queries using Oracle's SQL*Plus.
* Project 2: You will write an application program using PL/SQL and JDBC.

Grading policy

* Homework: 20%
* Midterm1: 15% (in 6th week)
* Midterm2: 15% (in 11th week)
* Projects: 30%
* Final: 20%

All late homeworks and projects will be penalized 5% per day (including weekends and holidays) and no assignment will be accepted if it is more than 5 days late unless compelling reasons can be presented.

Academic Honesty

Attendance

Attendance of every class is expected and strongly encouraged. Please inform the instructor of any expected absence.

حقيقة استفدت كثيرا من دروسك وشروحاتك ولكن لي طلب صغير هل يمكن ان تدلني علي موقة به كتاب
fundamentals of database system 5th
مع مراعاة ان يكون الاصدار الخامس لانني بحثت في كل مكان ولم اجد ضالتي وكذلك اذا امكن ان توفر لي
اجابات الاسئلة الموجودة في اخر كل فصل جزاك الله خيرا واسكنك الجنة

اريد ان اعتذر منك اخي الكريم edo_007 انا لست خبيرا في الداتا بيز لكن هذه مادة دراسية انا اخذتها في الجامعة والاجابات اجابات بروفيسور المادة
انا لم اعمل اب لوود upload للاجابات بتعتي التي تحتوي على بعض الاخطاء
و انا لا يوجد عندي ذلك الكتاب DB ولا اعرف كيف احصل عليه بدون فلوس لكي نساعدك في حل الاسئلة
اذا في حد بيعرف ممكن يساعد !!!!
