انا ال DBA ال وحيد فى مصنع حجم transaction's حتى الان مش كتير و انا واخد Workshop 1 until yet و عاوز اعرف البداية الجيده لقاعده البيانات يعنى عاوز اعرف ال basic information for correct start to db like
size for tabelspace & Tem & Datafile
must to create TS & TS Temp

هل لازم اقوم بنقل احدى Control file الى مكان اخر

هل الافضل ان تكون ال DB Archiv mode و لا مش فرقة او ايه الاسس اللى تحدد كده


يعنى الحاجات اللى ذى دى لانى للاسف الوحيد فى الشركة و خايف تكون البداية غلط و حتاج اعرف الاساس الصح

اية skilles اللى لازم تكون عندى لتحسين اداء DB و اكون ناجح فى ادارة ال DB و احل المشاكل فى اقل وقت و كفاء جيدة

1-first thing I advise you to read Oracle 9i Manuals it has a good explanation for the Oracle internals
2-Database should be in Archive log mode to be able to (if you have a disaster to restore your database to most recent state before failure using Archived Redo Log Files)
3-About controlfile move to another place there is no use for this action as they are all still on the same hard disk.
4-you should create a tablespace for each schema in your database and move your schema tables to this tablespace
5-you can choose the backup startegy based on your database size and hardware and resources.
