Dears,
How are you, I face a complex problem in multimaster replication site
the replication made between 9i RAc and separate database in anther city
and this error appears in my alert log file

ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 6
ORA-23386: replication parallel push cannot create slave processes
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DEFER_SYS", line 1716
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DEFER_SYS", line 1804
ORA-06512: at line 1

if any one face this error before kindly help me?

what were you doing before this error raised?

Nothing I saw that this error was exist before i come to site i tried many searches in metalink but no way to find solution

Error: ORA-23386
Text: replication parallel push cannot create slave processes

Cause: An error was occurred while creating slave processes for parallel
push.
Action: If the PARALLEL_MAX_SERVERS initialization parameter is zero,
reconfigure the parameter to be greater than zero. Otherwise,
contact Oracle Customer Support.

i checked this parameter before and readed this note but no solution

So ...do as they said ..Otherwise.contact Oracle Customer Support

Check Job 6 which is broken , it is the Push Job
tell me how many parallel salves do you use .

or send the Job Defenition for Job 6
