Consider the following requirements of vehicle rental company and fulfill the tasks following it:

A vehicle rental company wishes to create a database to monitor the renting of vehicles to clients. The company has various outlets and each outlet has staff including a Manager and several Senior Mechanics who are responsible for supervising the work of allocated groups of Mechanics. Each staff member is described by a name, ID, address, email, SSN, date of birth, mobile, and salary. Each outlet has a stock of vehicles for rent that may be rented by clients for various periods of time, from a minimum of four hours to a maximum of six months. An outlet has a number, address, telephone(s), and one manager. Each rental agreement between a client and the company is uniquely identified using a rental number. We record the starting and ending date and time of the rental agreement .and the mileage of the vehicle before and after the rent. A client must take out insurance cover for each vehicle rental period. Each vehicle is checked for faults after each rental. We keep track of employee who performed the check, date of check, and comments about the check .A vehicle generally has a number, maker model, color, capacity, and hire rate.


1. design a conceptual model for this company using:
• ER diagram.
• UML class diagram.
2. Perform the logical design phase by mapping your conceptual schema into a relational schema.
3. Normalize the relations.
4. Write DDL statements in SQL_99 to define the database.
5. Adopt the Microsoft Access 2007 DBMS and define the resulted relations.
6. Populate the database by demo data.
7. design user screens that allow inserting data into your database.

وبالنسبه للخطوه الخامسه ...فانك تريد انشاء ODBC driver for access db 2007 ومن ثم تقوم بربط power designer بالداتابيز الاكسس عن طريق ال ODBC الذي قمت بانشاءه مسبقا
واعتقد الخطوه السادسه من اسهل مايكون بانشاء فورمه بسيطه لادخال الداتا داخل الداتابيز
