My problem is about the listener on oracle 10g on linux.
When i try to start it this message appear to me:

TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

TNS-00507: Connection closed

Linux Error: 29: Illegal seek



My firewall status is disable and selinux is disable

I tried to change my ip address and found nothing.



When i try to add listener from the enterprise manager this message appear to me:





Error Message

Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection



I don't know what do i have to do?

I am waiting any reply.

لم تحدد لنا هل العطل بعد التنصيب والتشغيل ام في بداية عملية التنصيب

قابلت نفس المشكله و الحل كالتالي

Change /etc/hosts file to include
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

نعم هذا هو الحل الصحيح وهو ما يسمى بالمصطلح
الloopback
وذلك في حالة عدم وجود network
