I get this error
" IMP-00020: long column too large for column buffer size (40)"

when attempting to import a table, which was exported from 0racle9i Release 9.2.0.1.0. to same version on other pc
the size of dump file 380MB
the operation begin to import some tables(3 table)
when reach table XXX -(have 789879 raw) them error come
plz help me

    this is a bug.

    solution:

    If you export the data with DIRECT=N and BUFFER=2000000
    then everything seems to work fine on the import
    side using buffer=2000000

    الاخ العزيز
    اعتقد ان مشكلتك تمكن في انك خلال عمل export كانت قيمة buffer اقل من 20m لذا فالحل عمل قيمة buffer تساوي 20m

    والله أعلم
