ما هى الخطوات لعمل upgrade لل database من 10g release 1 الى 10g release 2
وذلك بأى طريقه غير create new database with r2 and restore dump to it
هل يمكن شرح ذلك بالتفصيل خاصة باستخدام upgrade database assistance
وشكرا

1-backup your database
2-install Oracle 10g R2 on the same server
3-run Oracle Database Upgrade assistant
using the wizard you will find a list of databases installed on your server ,choose the database you want to upgrade and next..next...
after upgrade complete,close the upgrade assistant and connect to your database it is now ready for use.
4-drop the database created in 10g R1
5-uninstall Oracle 10g R1 from the server
