when I try to open my DB I find that the database is mounted and
I am not ale to open it ,because the control file is older than the
system datafile and it gives me the following

SQL> conn sys/sys as sysdba
Connected.
SQL> startup
ORA-01081: cannot start already-running ORACLE - shut it down first
SQL> shutdown immediate
ORA-01109: database not open


Database dismounted.
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Total System Global Area  135338868 bytes
Fixed Size				   453492 bytes
Variable Size			 109051904 bytes
Database Buffers		   25165824 bytes
Redo Buffers				 667648 bytes
Database mounted.
ORA-01122: database file 1 failed verification check
ORA-01110: data file 1: 'D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\cm\SYSTEM01.DBF'
ORA-01207: file is more recent than controlfile - old controlfile

Can anybody help me ........ ASAP

I don't have any backup

The control file change sequence number in the datafile is greater than the number in the control file. This implies that the wrong control file is being used

tell us what you do before the database down and what is the version of db ? archive or noarchive log mode

شوف يا اخ عبد الله
المشكلة ان الاجهزة اللي نازل عليها الdatabase بتتعرض ان الكهربا تقطع عنها فجاة اكتر من مرة
و دة بتسبب ان ال database تقفل في وضع مش مزبوط .
البداية انة كان هناك control file من الثلاثة corrupted
فقمنا بعمل نسخ لنسخة اخري من ال control file ووضعها مكان التالفة
عند عمل open لل database ظهرت رسالة بأن هناك redolog تالفة فقمنا بعمل clear لها و طبعا دة طير البيانات اللي عليها
عند محاولة الفتح مرة اخري طلبت ال database عمل recovery لل system datafile
عند عملها اعطانا ال

ORA-01122: database file 1 failed verification check
ORA-01110: data file 1: 'D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\cm\SYSTEM01.DBF'
ORA-01207: file is more recent than controlfile - old controlfile

the database version is 9i
and is running in the archive log mode

عند عمل open لل database ظهرت رسالة بأن هناك redolog تالفة فقمنا بعمل clear لها و طبعا دة طير البيانات اللي عليها

هو redolog مش فيه اكتر من memeber فى ال group

قم بالخطوات التالية و ان شاء الله تنجح:

Do the following.

1. Take a trace of controlfile.

SQL > alter database backup controlfile to trace;

2. You can find the file in userdump dest. Open the trace file and edit for neccesary changes.

3. Startup the database in nomount state.

SQL > startup nomoun

4. Run the controlfile script create in step 2

SQL > @cfile.sql

5. Recover the db

SQL > recover database using backup controlfile

6. Open the database.

SQL > alter database open

لكن للاسف انا قمت بحذف ال database وذلك لان هذة الdatabase كان مطلوب مني انها تعمل باي شكل . وقمت بعمل واحدي اخري و قمت بعمل import ل dmp file كان متاخد قبل المشكلة بفترة بسيطة
و الحمد لله تقريبا مفيش داتا اتغيرت من بعد اخذ هذا ال dmp file
مرة اخري اشكر استجابتك السريعة لمشكلتي و اسف اني لم استطيع الاستفادة من مجهودك القيم
وجعل الله مجهوداتك هذة في ميزان حسناتك

Try to take daily export or weekly according to your bussines needs and put database in archivelog mode

المشكلة ان الشركة فيها اكثر من 30 database حوالي 20 منهم اتعملوا قبل ما انضم للشركة و هي في فروع متعددة وبعضها بعيد عن المقر الرئيسي .
لكن ال database اللي بتتعمل جديد الحمد لله معمولها تأمين جيد.
علشان كدة السيناريوهات اللي الواحد بيقابلها من ال databases القديمة بتكون صعبة و مفيش backup ولا archives تساعد علي الحل
