Oracle application lite: is a specail type of an Oracle application, and here are some information about
Oracle lite:

Oracle Lite is Oracle's suite of products for enabling mobile use of database-centric applications.

Oracle Database Lite is an extension to Oracle Database 10g for enterprises wanting to increase productivity,
reduce operational costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Key components of Oracle Lite include the Oracle Lite Database, Mobile Development Kit, and Mobile Server (an extension of the Oracle Application Server).
and its Complete infrastructure to build, deploy, and manage mobile database applications

Oracle Database Lite is a complete, integrated, and secure infrastructure to build, manage, and provision mobile
database application to a broad range of wireless devices.

The oracle lite database is self-tuning and self-administering.
