بتاريخ: 28 مارس 200719 سنة comment_95329 مرحبا إخواني أعضاء المنتدىانا دخلت المنتدى من صديق لي ووجدت بانه من أفضل المنتديات في تعلم الأوراكلولكن الذي واجهني أنه مطلوب مني ان أحل هذا المشروع ولكن المعضله الكبرى بانني لا أعرف أوراكلوالمشروع مطلوب منه أوراكلأرجو حل هذا المشروع لانه مطلوب منكموشكرا على تعاونكمأترككم مع نص المشروع بالإنجليزي Karam Imseeh Jewelry About the project: Our project is about "Karam Imseeh Jewelry"; it’s a big entity with 3 branches; two branches in downtown and one branch in "Om Othaina".Our project is exclusively about the branch in downtown, in goldsmith market.It’s not a large branch, but it was the first branch when karam Imseeh started his business.It is a 2-floor shop. the first floor is the showroom were customers buy and sell the jewelries, and the second floor contains the workshop "dedicated in fixing and reforming the size and mending any problem or default in the jewelry", it contains too the IT section" which is a computer and an IT employee", and the management of that branch, the owner and one employee, and all the files and papers and official documents.This shop uses Microsoft access for the database, which we consider it inefficient because of the height sensitivity and importance of the data. We will work our project on oracle 10g. 1. the scope of our project: Our scope contains every thing between the suppliers of the jewelries to the customers.The main supplier is the wholesale center; which gets the gold from many countries around the world (Turkey, Malaysia, Italy, Lebanon, and Dubai, South Africa). And the tables are:-Suppliers: supplier ID, supplier name, Order, city*, country*, phone number, E-mail, P.O.Box. -Wholesale center: order ID, order date, supplier name, Order, city*, phone number, E-mail, P.O.Box.-Branch: Branch ID, branch name, city*, country*, street name, building number, phone number, fax number, e-mail.-Employees: employee ID, social security number, employee first name, employee last name, age, Specialty, experience, hiring date, salary, city*, street name, building number, employee phone number, e-mail.-Transaction: transaction ID, transaction date, transaction type, employee ID, ounce price, kilo price, dollar price, profit.-Jewelry: jewelry ID, jewelry type, jewelry weight*.-Customer: customer ID, customer first name, customer last name, social security number, gender*, phone number, e-mail. 2. Feasibility study:Advantages & benefits:1) The software they use is Microsoft access and we will use oracle 10g to deal with data more efficiently, because any misunderstanding or any wrong in data entry or any lost in data could be very misleading and cause problems.2) Data integration; with access, each branch has his own database, so no integration between branches. But with oracle there will be an integration, and data retrieval from any branch.3) Error detection; reducing errors;With access; data is entered (mobilized) manually; so each end user make confuse about needed data and there are no immediate mechanism for data detectionBut with oracle 10g; there are standardized format that end users use it to enter specific and needed information. And when users entered invalid value, the DBMS will inform about error immediately. 4) More security; the database contains a sensitive and secret data, so security issue is very important, and oracle 10g will insure this by giving each end user privileges, and according to this privileges they can access and take action. 5) In oracle 10g, many users can use and retrieve data at the same time, but in access one user can use the database at the time, and this is inefficient especially in the busy days of work.6) For updating the data;Oracle 10g separates between the program and the data so updating data is easy and won't take time.But in access, in updating data, we have to change the structure of data and this is inefficient.7) Efficient storage that reduce data redundancy.8) Data consistency that each user can retrieve data any time he wants. The Cost:The cost might be considered as a disadvantage, but the advantages which we mention before are too important to more efficient business. (the computerized system).If the cost exceeds the advantages in the first year (year of implementation), the next years the benefits will exceeds the cost.1) Installation of oracle 10g program.License cost = 590 JD2) cost of buying another 2 PCs(for data entry in the first floor)It will cost 500 JD both (250 JD each).The PC in the second floor which will use oracle 10g and is height features, it will be used as a server to integrate information between the PCs.Ongoing costs:3) Training cost.Oracle session it will cost about 250 JD.4) Maintenance cost; annually for the 3 PCs 300 JD.5) Updating for oracle 10g (if needed). Cost= (590+500+250+300) =1640 JD.Analysis: We use these methods in gathering information; 1. Interviews (2 interviews in the shop, and 4 phone calls). 2. Observation. 3. Structured questions 4.
