I have a serious problem and I don't know its solution or its reason

first i want to install Linux Fedora core 6 with keeping windows in the same hard drive

my pc aspecs amd 2500+ athlone 512 ram 128 VGA Card

my hard description is

primary partition --> C: ntfs 20G

extended partition -->logical-->D:ntfs 30G

logical-->E: 20G

partition--> for Linux 10GB---->/boot 100MB

----->Vloume groups --->1G swap

---->/ ext3

while setup once I choose the BURG to installed on the master boot record

and the another I choose the BURG to be installed on the /boot drive

first case the following error appear and the second case error appears (error 17)????

the error text appeare when i choose to start fedora and the error is

-Uncompressing Linux ... ok booting the kernel.

-Buffer I/O error on divce hda, logical block 0

-Buffer I/O error on divce hda, logical block 0

-Red Hat nash version 5.1.19 starting

Reading all physical volums. this may take a while

no volume groups found

volume group "VloGroup" not found

-Unable to access resume device /dev/VolGroup00/logVol01

-mount : could not find filesystem /dev/root

-setuproot:moving /dev faild no such file or directory

-setuproot:error mounting /proc no such file or directory

-setuproot:error mounting /sys no such file or directory

-switchroot:mount failed no such file or directory

-kernel public not syncing Attemped to kill init!

then the PC hang

any help???

BURG = Grub
جرب تدخل على السنقل مود عن طريق القرب .

لما تشتغل شاشة القرب حدد النظام واضغط حرف e
بعدين اختر السطر الثاني وكمان اضغط حرف e
في نهاية السطر الثاني ضيف رقم 1 واضغط حرف b

اذا كمل معك السيستم واشتغل راح اكمل لك الشرح.

واغلب الظن عندك مشكلة في الهارديسك لكن راح نشوف ان شاء الله
