its urgent plz to all the friends i have access files which have 16000 records and i want to totransfer all thses records to an oracle databse table i am trying to do it using sqlldr but iam but ia getting an error can anybody give a breife expalantion on how to do it or if there is ny other possible way ur brother hassen

u can make it easy by using link table to make table from ur database then u using ur data on ur access file and make query on records that u want then u can use append query to append ur last query to table that u get it from ur database(oracle) by using link table

Create ODBC for Oracle Database
Make sure that your table name and it's field in access database are capital letter
Then right click on accesss table and EXPORT

to all the oralce friends i realy thank u very much for ur solutions but
i have done it another well my task was to transfer all the records from acces table to oracle table so what i did
instead of treating the data row wise i have treated them column wise that
is i have created for every column in the access table a table in the
oracle database of 2 columns one to load serial numbers and the other one to load the data from the access column ,and ofcourse u can load serial number to an oracle column using the recnum column type
after creating tables to each column in the access table with serial numbers and loading the data u will have the whole data in the oracle database but in different tables and then all u have to do is create a table as a collection of all the tables u have created
i hope u got my point if u have any comments about my solution i hope u tell me
