مجرد Data Type والفرق انه يستطيع تخزين 4 قيقابايت من المعلومات وهو البديل الأقضل ل long

CLOB ==> regular string
BLOB ==> Binary data

The "LOB" is bout a column data type just like date,number,..etc
it's larg Larg OBject..
And thier is 2 kind of this data type also ::

CLOB: is character object
BLOB : is binary object

but both of them are internal database column , thay save values of the column inside "internaly" in database .

We use for example BLOB column in table to save Pictures of employee let's say , cause it's need big size.
>> for CLOB you can save text or word document of larg size cause it's character object.


note :: you can search about another database column called Bfile .. it's externaly save data , means outside database.
