Iwant to make a table has acolumn which has data type time

their isnot data type named time
as I write time 09:09:09


and then in the table i define it as varchar2
then this is a problem and i cant have agood query from it

then the select satement retrive the data like
090909


and that is the problem

what can i do

my friend help me

it's very easy my body ..
just define that column as datetime
it will contain date and time together , cause you can't defien just time
it's better to create this table in SQL , cause in toad tools this data type is not exists ..
anyway the data will look like this ::

1999/10/24 21:05:00
the exact format for it=> HH24:MI:SS DD/MM/YYYY

when you make insert use format like above or the time wil be zero like this >>
1999/10/24 00:00:00

and good luck.

i use the tood tool but the form cannot read this type at all
