hi i want to install oracle 10g on my system i am using redhat es 4 but during the installation i get this error

في النظام عندك بتستخدم DHCP عشان تاخذ عنوان IP يعني عنوان متغير ، واوراكل تفضل انه يكون عنوان ثابت Static IP

انا جعلت العنوان ثابت ولكن ﻻ فائدة

هل انت متأكد ان كارت النيتورك اكتف
ifconfig eth0
وتاكد هل توجد كلمة UP ام لا اذا لم تجدها استخدم التعبير التالي

ifconfig eth0 up

its recommended from oracle when installing the DB or AS to disable the DHCP or its better to disable it when you install the RedHat OS itself

after that you can assign a static ip to your machine

you should edit this file to add the loop back ip /etc/hosts and add this
line

127.0.0.1 your server name server description

هذه المشكلة عادية
اعمل التالي و بنزل معاك زي الفل ان شاء الله
تحدث معي لاني غير موصول بالشبكة و لم اعمل اي شئ و نزل معاي 100%
و استخدم localhost بدل IP
