when i istalling the oracle 10 g on redhat es 4 i get error when the configuration assistant installing

Where is the error ????

try to do the following :

1- assign a static ip to your NIC
2- follow the network configuration section on the oracle installation to give the specified port range - search www.google.com/linux for "oracle installation - and do as the tutorial said
3- ensure that u have proporly set your host name

i hope that it works

also check ur firewall try to disable it during installation

لقد وجدت الحل للمشكلة يا أخي الكريم
و هو عن طريق أمر neat و تقوم بإدخال الIP address ال static الذي قمت بإدخاله لل eth0 أو لكارت الشبكة الخاص بك أيا كان هو.
و بذلك تكون المشكلة قد تم حلها و الحمد لله رب العالمين
و أي مشكلة راسلني بالخاص و إن شاء الله سأرد عليك هنا لكي يستفيد الجميع.
