Arabic parameters

I'm using a form to call a report, that performs a query based on a parameter passed from the form to the report. This works well with english parameters, but with arabic parameters, the reports appears empty. I'm using oracle 10g db, developer 10g. I already configured the NLS_LANG to arabic . I'm able to add /retrieve arabic entries to/from the database, provided that i do not pass arabic parameters.
