Oracle 10g EX on RedHat 9.0

Hi all, i am rally need your help;

I have RedHat Linux version 9.0 installed on my machine, and as i am a java programmer, i wanna deal with Oracle DBs.
I surf Oracle website to download oracle database, i was hearning that oracle 9i on 3 CDs ( nearly 2 GB) , i was fearning from this huge size as i am a DSL subscriber.

I found a relatively new version called 10g, i found an edition that so called “ Express Edition” that is 250 MB, really i was very happy as i could download easily......

After downloading , i tried installing it with the help of  a document from oracle site titled :
“Oracle® Database Express Edition Installation Guide “
it was very fantastic but unfortunately it requires RHEL 4 or 3 or FC4, and require minmun glibc2.3.2 and libaio .3.96.

I found my RedHat 9.0 have glibc2.3.2 and i downloaded libaio and installed it successfully.

Then, i got ready to install the oracle xe ( express ed), i follow the instructions in the refered file carefully, but when i trying open this page “http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex” ( as the installer told me after completing the installation process ) , the browser can not open this page.....

i tried reading the installation guide more and more and applying what i read but no way....

so i asked ALLAH to make you to help me..........
