Senior Configuration Management Analyst


Location: Kuwait

Qualification and Experience:

5+ years experience in one of the Configuration Management Tools preferably Oracle SCM, PVCS (Merant) or IBM Rational or equivalent.
Excellent knowledge of Configuration Management and Release Management process.
Ability to handle Configuration Management and Release Management tasks independently
2-3 years development experience in Oracle Developer, C, C++, Visual C, Visual Basic, Java(JSP &J2EE), XML programming in Windows and Unix environment (Client Server/Web based development).
Knowledge and familiarity with Oracle DB and Designer
Proficiency in MS Office, Windows, Unix and Web technologies
University Graduate
Age around 30 years
Good communication skills in English Language (Verbal & Written)
Job Responsibilities:

Creates and monitor a CM Plan in coordination with Project Manager
Determines the scope and granularity of the CIs recorded in the CMDB
Update the CMDB with new CI information and status information
Control access to CMDB.
Perform baselines and Version control of s/w and DB Releases
Conduct Configuration Physical Audits and reconcile CMDB
Prepare management reports for Configuration Status
Conduct awareness for Configuration Management policies and procedures
Receive, analyze and process Software Delivery Requests.
Prepares delivery packages with Release Notes
Setup and configure CM tool for automated build process.
Maintains Delivery Logs indicating the status of a delivery.
Update Oracle Designer to maintain DB Versions
