just to add small thing when there is problem restoring from backupsets open ticket with support to extract the files in the backupsets :)

    ماذا لو تلف بارتشن كامل وهو الـ C مثلا وقمت بتثتيب ويندوز ولكن ملفات backup موجوده في الـ D فكيف يتم استعادة هذه النسخة ، حيث انني قمت بتثتيب ويندوز جديد و database اي انها بدون داتا فهل rman يستطيع عمل restore

    you can restore your database to the last backup you have and last archive log time and online if you have it
