هل يمكن تغير نوع data type الخاصة باى عمود داخل الجدول
واذا لم تتوافر امكانية التغيير
فما هى القواعد التى تحطم عملية تغيير data type

يمكن تغيير الداتا تايب الخاصة بأي عمود داخل أي جدول

تقدر تغير data type
بواسطة

alter table table_name modify (column_name datatype)

ممكن تغير الداتا تايب الخاصه باي عمود ... لكن لازم يكون العمود فاضي ... يعنى خالى من اى قيم ... وتستخدم نفس الجمله اللى اشار اليها الزميل غزوان

changing data type or width or length is possible,but with some restrictions :if column is empty there is no problem at all,
if its not,then :
about width and length . . . it must match with exist data length and width or at least does not conflict,
about data type :its ok between(date,char ) and between(char,number), that is just if data formats match exactly and not conflict
example : char('1234')=number(1234). or date('1/1/04') = char('1/1/04') and so on ....
