بإختصار شديد ال Grid هو
بيئة تتواجد بها منتجات اوراكل كل منها تعمل تحت ال RAC
يعني
Database Real Application Cluster
+
Application Server Real Application Cluster
+
...... شغلاات بعرفهاش إلا بالإسم

وطبعا السؤال شو هوا ال RAC
ال RAC هو Multiple Instances with single Database

يعني ال software و ال Instance بكل محتوياتو من Memory Structure + Processes
على Machine
والدات هلى Shared Storage تتشارك به عدة Machines

والموضوع معقد شوي بس هذا الي بقدر أخدمك فيه

hi guys i am oracle DBA and i work on enterprise manager grid control its not important to make the grid with the RAC system there is many ways to use the grid u can use it alone or with RAC but the important thing is the grid is the multioracle fostware types controller i meaning you can use it to control a database and application sarver in the same time and so on
