قمت حديثا بتنزيل نسخة لينكس للتعرف على هذا النظام
و قدرت بالفعل اتعرف علية و واجهتنى بعض المشاكل فسأقولها الأن و ارجوا المساعدة من كل اخوانى فى المنتدى .

1- اول مشكلة mounting ..فقمت بتحويل كل البرتشنات الى فات 32 عشان اقدر احلها .
2- بعد لما قدرت اظهر برتشنات وندوز لقيت انى بعد لما بعمل رستارت بيشيل المونتج ؟؟ اية الحل ؟
3- اللغة ( عربى + انجليزى ) و بالرغم من هذا فأنة لا يستطيع قراءة الفولدرات الى موجودة فى برتشنات الوندوز انما يقرأها ( ؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟ ) .
4- ملفات ال mp3 فلم اجد برنامج يدعم هذا النوع من الملفات . و تكرر نفس الكلام مع ملفات asf ..
5- و اخيرا .. كيف استطيع تنزيل اوراكل على لينكس ممع العلم انى قمت يتنزيل نسخة centos 4.2

السلام عليكم

أنا أستخدم Fedora Core 5 , و قد قمت بحل جميع المشاكل ومنها:
إستخدام اللغة العربية من Add Remove Packages و إختيار اللغة العربية
عمل Mouny ل ntfs وجدت package لدعمها و إشتغلت 100% أما لتشغيلها كل مرة تفتح الجهاز قم بإضافتها إلى ملف etc/fstab مثلا إذا كان بارتشن الويندوز /dev/hda1
قم بإضافة السطر التالي إلى هذا الملف:
/dev/hda1 /media/windows ntfs defualts 0 0
و قبل ذلك أنشا مجلد لستقبال البارتشن و لمعرفة رقم بارتشن الويندوز نفذ fdisk -l
ولكن كن حذرا جدا عند تعديل الfstab والافضل عمل mount يدويا
أما تنزيل الاوراكل فبعد عمل mount للسيدي و الانتقال إلى ذلك المجلد نفذ ./runInstaller
ثم تابع
أما لتشغيل ملفات mp3 فأنصح ببرنامج xine

solution for problem # 1and 3: write the mount parameters in the fstab file found under the etc folder
in the file for example enter the following line :
/dev/hda2 /windows/C vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0

where the first part (/dev/hda2 ) represnt the block device of my partition
so dev means device
hd means hard disk , where a means the first hard disk, 2 means the second partition

the second part is the folder which is called the mount point where this folder works as a gate for your hard disk partition so when u access this folder u actually access ur partition

the third part is the file system type of the selected partition which is fat32 however it's name in linux is vfat for either fat32 or fat16

the third part is for theoptions associated with the mounting operation including permission to use this device which here is for users and the read and write permissions on that particular partition and the language settings
note that option :
utf8 = true


this option will let linux read the file system that contains arabic caracters correctly without ???? like u hava complained about in problem number3


solution for problem # 4: download the xmms and the related libraries and specfically the lame library and for the asf format and the mp3 together download the xine or mplayer which is a very good media player that can load subtitles and playes dvd and vcd and svcd and xvid and every other popular video codecs format

you can install yum or apt with repostries of RedHat enterprise linux 4 to install the software automatically using yum or apt

for yum :

yum install xmms xmms-lib lame mplayer xine-ui xine-lib

for apt :

apt-get install xmms xmms-lib lame mplayer xine-ui xine-lib

solution for the important problem:
oracle installation on that distribution should be that same as RedHat Enterprise linux 4 because this distro is a rebuild of the red hat code u shall follow the steps found in the following tutorial
