In this part i will talk about the traditional SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) The waterfall Model.

This model was used widly till the starts of 80's. This methedology is a sequantial one starts with the Planing then Analysis, Logical Design, Physical Design, Implemintation and then the Maintenance.

although this type of methodolgies is used widly, there are some disadvanteges in it like:
1- the end user of the system doesn't have any role only in the analysis phase so any feedback from end users must be taken in the early stages of system development.
2- Any errors in understasnding the enduser needs will only appear after the end of system development.
3- There is no iteration in phases its only one way method.

and many other problems and the next article for me will be about what are the modern techniques in System Development And Design.
