PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the project is to provide you the opportunity to practice some of the Systems Analysis and Design Skills covered in class. In Summary, you will be:

• Picking a current system (make sure you have access to your client),
• Uncovering its problems, opportunities, or directives,
• Writing a professional report in which you describe the steps of your analysis and modeling.
• Developing PowerPoint slides for your analysis report.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION:

The project has to be completed in three phases and each phase has a deadline. The report of each phase must be submitted at the given deadline. Failure to do so will result in heavy penalty (Loss of marks for that particular phase). You will also submit the respective Power Point slides with the reports. You will be judged based on a marking scheme given on the site.

TEAM FORMATION:

This is a Group Project. Your group names must be registered within week 2. You may have 5 to 6 members within a group. If you have any problems in the groups then report these problems to me as soon as possible.

• With my approval, you may start working on a particular company. Submit the name of this company with group member names.
• Establish Administration Roles for your team (Leader, Facilitator, Recorder…)
• Establish technical Roles for your team (Presentation Developer, Questionnaire Developer, Writer….)
• Make and submit a form with the team members, the project names, and the different Administration Roles, and Technical roles assigned to each team. (As Soon As Possible)

PROGRESS REPORTS:

• Each group must provide three (2) project reports, one at the end of the first two phases. Apart from the technical content, these reports should include:

o A Printout of Presentation Slides
o Weekly minutes of the discussions during group meetings
o The planning of the next phase,
o Problems Encountered by the team.

PROJECT PHASES:

PHASE 1: Client Description

This will consist of a description of the company and the system that you want to work with. This has to be approved by your instructor before you go ahead with your project.

Deliverables: At least a 100 (minimum) – 250 (maximum) words description giving the introduction of the Company and the particular problem area that you want to work with.
This report will also consist of two lists
• A list of Subsystems, highlighting the system that you choose to develop
• A list of Stakeholders of the System

Presentation Slides (Hard Copy): Slides Containing the Company description, work distributions, Organization Charts, Subsystems and Stakeholders.

Example: If your client is a school then you have to give an introduction of school, its business activities and the various functioning departments of the school. Then you describe the specific problem area that you want to cover e.g. Registration, Grading, and Human Resources etc.

Be specific, focused and cover one particular aspect. Do not perform a System Analysis of the whole School Management System.

PHASE 2: Project Scope, Problem Analysis and Requirements Analysis

In this phase you have to define the scope of the Project. Apply various facts finding techniques to analyze problems and defining requirements.

You may
• Use Ishikawa Diagram
• Produce a Problem Statement like the one on pg 168 of the book.
• Use Sampling, Research, Observations, Questionnaires (from Assignment), Interviews

Deliverables: At least a 200 - 300 page report describing the System Problems. Your report will be a summary of your findings.

You may attach any supporting documentation that you may have used in the process in the appendix of the report (e.g. Ishikawa, Questionnaires, Existing Forms of Company, Organization Charts, and Interview Memos etc.).

Presentation Slides (Hard Copy): Slides of your presentation describing the System Problems and Requirements. The slides may contain the supporting Matrices and Diagrams.

Deadline: Determined in the course calendar ( Website)

PHASE 3:Process Modeling: Data Flow Diagrams. Output and Input Design

This will essentially consist of developing Logical Data Flow Diagrams, Data Structures and English Representation of the given Data Flow Diagram. (pg 357 – pg 362)
You will also be required to give 1 sample output and 1 sample input design screen.

Deliverables: A report consisting of Logical Data Flow Diagrams, Data Structures and English Representation of Data Structures.
A sample output and sample input design screen.
Presentation Slides (Hard Copy): Slides of your presentation containing Logical Data Flow Diagrams, Data Structures, English Representation, Sample output and Sample Input design screen.

Deadline: Determined in the course calendar ( Website)

يمكن اعتبار ان نظام متابعة اعمال عيادة الاسنان هو احد العيادات فى مستوصف طبي او مركز طبى

فالمطلوب هو :
- مقدمة وتعريف المشروع كلل وهو المركز الطبي .
- تحديد مشاكل العمل الحالى ( تأخير فى متابعة حالات المرضى - عدم الالتزام بمواعيد الكشف - ...)
- تحديد الاهداف العامة من تنفيذ النظام ( الدقه فى الوقت - السرعة فى الانجاز - زيادة حجم العملاء ...)
- دراسة الهيكل التنظيمى للادارات والاقسام المختلفة داخل المركز الطبى .
- شرح مختصر عن اعمال كل قسم من الاقسام مثل ( قسم استقبال المرض - قسم تحصيل رسوم الكشف الطبي - قسم التحاليل الطبية - قسم الصيدلية - قسم المالية - قسم شؤون الموظفين ... )
- ثم ذكر ان حدود ومجال عمل النظام هو عيادة الاسنان .
- ثم تحديد المهام والوظائف والانشطة التى تؤدى فى عيادة الاسنان مثل :
- متابعة حجوزات المرضى .
- تسجيل بيانات التشخيص والعلاج للمريض .
- تصنيف الاسنان وانواع حالات الكشف ( خلع - حشو - تقويم ... )
- تحديد تكلفة العلاج واصدار الفاتورة .

ثم تبدأ بعد ذلك اعداد الرسومات مثل ال
DFD + ER

- اعداد تصور مبدئي لشاشات الادخال المقنرحة وشاشات الاستعلام

طيب الان ماهي اجزاء النظام في عيادة الاسنان؟؟

وماهي المشاكل التي قد تواجه هذا النظام ؟؟ وطريقة الحل لها

لاني بصراحه حاولة استنتج بعض المشاكل ماطلع معي الا 2 فقط ومستحل تكون 2 اكيد هناك اشياء اخرى

لذالك اطلب منكم المساعده في طرح الي تقدرون عليه واكون شاكره لكم

لدراسة اى نظام او مشروع بشكل واقعى ... يجب الحصول على المعلومات من موقع الدراسة او المشروع

بمعنى انه يجب اجراء مقابلة شخصية مع احد المسؤولين بالمركز الطبي أو الحصول على شكل النماذج المستخدمة فى المشروع محل الدراسة

ولكن يمكن الاجتهاد الشخصى ولنفترض الاتى :

- المشكلة الاساسية بشكل عام هى عدم انتظام مواعيد الكشف الطبي اي ان المريض يجب ان يحجز موعد مسبقا لاجراء الكشف علية وهذا يتطلب وجود برنامج لتنسيق وتنظيم حجوزات المرضى والمتابعة وامكانية الغاء الحجز لاسباب معينة .
- معرفة المواعيد التى يتواجد بها الاطباء وتنظيم فترات العمل وتنظيم الاجازات .
- الاحتفاظ بسجل طبي تاريخى عن مراحل العلاج والكشوف الطبية خلال مرحلة العلاج .
- ايضا من المعروف ان علاج تقويم الاسنان يأخذ فترة طويلة فى العلاج فيمكن متابعة سداد المرضى للمبالغ الشهرية المستجقة .
- ايضا عيادات الاسنان تتعامل مع جهات خارجية من معامل وتجهيزات ومعدات طبية مثل أطقم الاسنان ... فيمكن متابعة هذا النشاط من حيث تواريخ تنفيذ اوامر العمل المرسلة لهذه الجهات والاستلام فى التواريخ المتفق عليها .

- يجب الاطلاع ومعرفة ابعاد النظام لمعرفة حدود العمل بالمشروع
