هل يستطيع أحد أن يخبرني عن كيفية التحويل من
Forms & Reports 6i
إلي
Forms & Reports 10g

مع شرح كيفية تعريف الـ
Icons

لأنني أواجة مشاكل في هذة الجزئية
وبخاصة مع الـ
Icons

هل في طريقة للتحويل
أم لا

yes ,am working on it,
for the icons it should be gif or jpg.
ico not suported in the web.
form and reports once u open them in 10g and compile them,they are 10g now.


1-go to the formsweb.cfg which in the following path(C:\<oracle>\forms\server)
2-change the imageBase=documentbase to imageBase=CodeBase
3-go to (C:\<oracle>\forms\java\oracle\forms) and create new folder (icons) and put your icons there
4-go to (C:\<oracle>\forms\java\oracle\forms\registry) and open Registry.dat and edit the:

default.icons.iconpath=
default.icons.iconextension=

to be like that:

default.icons.iconpath=oracle/forms/icons
default.icons.iconextension=gif

and run the form....

الاخ الفاضل
هناك اداة تقوم بهذا الدور بتنزل مع application server
اسمها forms migration assistant
استخدمها هى عبارة عن wizard بسيط بتختار الشاشة وهى تكمل الباقى
بالنسبة للايقونات
بتحولها اولا jar fil ثم تضعها فى oracle home/forms/java
وتجعل image_base=CodeBase
بالشكل ده تقدر تظهر الايقونات اللى هى عبارة gif على المفاتيح
اى استفسار تانى انا تحت امرك

اخي الكريم الطريقة بسيطة جدا
اذا كان لديك شاشة على فورم 6 قم بفتحها على فورم 10 جي ثم اعمل لها compile وبتالي
تكون قد تحولت الى 10 جي وهكذا مع التقارير .

ولكن يجب ان تنتبه انه في حالت عمل compile للشلشة على 10 جي انها لن تعمل على فورم 6 .
