Friends, I have FORM1 with student_ID field, and a RUN button.
When pressing the RUN button, I need to call another form; FORM2, and pass the value from (FORM1) in :student_block.student_ID, into another field (:FORM2_block.new_field) in FORM2


Im using oracle 9i, Forms 6i

توجد عدة حلول لما تطلبه ولكن افضلها هو استخدام ال global varaibles
حيث بالشاشة الاولى التي تحتوى على رقم الطالب عندما تستدعي الشاشة الثانية من زر مثلا
تقوم بوضع قيمة رقم الطالب في ال global variables
ومن ثم تستدعي الفورم مثلا

open_from('from_name');

وعند فتح الفورم الثانية تضع قيمة ال global varaible في الفيلد الجديد
وذلك باستخدام تريجر اسمة when-new-forms-instance
