سلامو عليكم اود ان أسال الى خبراء الاوراكل ما الفرق ما بين ال RAC and repalication ؟ وامتى استخدم التقنية دة او دة وشكرا

Dear all i am trying to make RAC with one node, when i searched , i founded that it is a new feature in Database 11.2 so my questions are 1- is this feature already exist in older databases such as 11.1 or 10.2 ? 2- i search for ClusterWare 11.2 but i cant't find it , so can i use Clusterware 11.1 with DB 11.2 ? thanks.

Dear all please advice how can i Raise alert log tracing level . my db service stopped Accidentally i want to khnow what is the problem ? my alertlog file record only archiving process ,Db start and stop For that i want to raise trace level

Can anyone explain me what is the difference between RAW device & hard disk? What is the advantage if we use RAW device as storage device for an Oracle database?

dear all I done rebuild an index using the command ALTER INDEX tabs.STOCK_HIST_IDX2 REBUILD TABLESPACE idx_temp; so what is the next step to get back the index to the old tablespace the index moved to another tablespace and i want to bring it back so i can drop the tablespace i created to do the rebuild thanking you..
